Meet the human behind Sniff & Seek!
Hi, I'm Tasha - the founder of Sniff & Seek, and a lifelong dog enthusiast with a special love for scentwork.
My journey into scentwork began with my wonderful dog, Wilson (who can be seen in the photo to the left!). After trying many types of training (obedience, agility, tricks etc... the list goes on!) - nothing seemed to really engage him. Then, I saw a trainer advertising a scentwork course in our area, and I thought - let's try that! Well, I'd never seen Wilson light up like he did in that class, and in turn, it lit something up in me too. I saw first hand how powerful it could be for building confidence, focus and pure joy in a dog.
That passion quickly turned in to an addiction, and I'm lucky enough to spend my spare time travelling around training and competing in competitions with Wilson. The experience and fun we have through scentwork has strengthened our bond in ways that I could never have anticipated.
My youngest dog, Woody, is now also dipping his paws in, and I can't wait to see where it takes us!

Scent Starters
Perfect for curious canines just beginning their scentwork journey. Whether your dog is brand new to sniffing or your both exploring scentwork for the first time, Sniff Starters is the ideal place to begin.
In this fun and engaging course, you'll learn how to introduce your kong to scent detection using Kong as the target odour.
I'll guide you through the basics step-by-step, covering search set ups, reading your dogs body language, building motivation and developing those all-important indication skills. Every dog works at their own pace in a calm, supportive environment - no prior experience required!
By the end of the course, your dog will have built confidence in searching, and you'll both have discovered how fun and rewarding scentwork can be.
Course includes:
- 6 weekly, 1 hour classes
- Small class sizes (max 6 dogs)
- Take home tips and out of class support
- Certificate of completion
Next Level Noses
For dogs and handlers ready to level up their scentwork skills!
Already caught the scentwork bug? Next Level Noses is our intermediate course, building on the foundations from Sniff Starters, helping you and your dog develop more confidence, independence, and precision in your searches.
In this intermediate course, we will add gun oil to your dogs odour library, we'll introduce more challenging search setups and we'll work on new concepts such as multiple hides, distractions and longer search durations. You'll also learn to fine-tune your observation skills so you can read your dog more clearly as they problem solve.
Each session is designed to stretch your skills without overwhelming your dog, keeping the focus on fun, teamwork and steady progression.
Course includes:
- 6 weekly, 1 hour classes
- Small class sizes (max 6 dogs)
- Introduction to gun oil
- Ongoing feedback and support
- Certificate of completion
Elite Sniffers
For scentwork teams ready to take it to the top.
Welcome to Elite Sniffers - the advanced level for dogs and handlers who've built a solid foundation and are ready to push their scentwork skills to new heights.
In this course, we'll challenge both you and your dog with complex search setups, bigger search areas, multiple hides, distractions, buried hides, inaccessible hides and timed searches.
You'll develop sharper handling techniques, learn to fine-tune your dogs indications, and explore more realistic scent scenarios.
This level is all about teamwork, precision, and confidence - whether you're working toward scentwork trials or just love the thrill of the search.
Course includes:
- 6 weekly, 1 hour classes
- Small class sizes (max 6 dogs)
- Multiple hide scenarios and distractions
- Coaching on handling and reading behaviour
